If you’re the crafty type, you may be thinking about how you can level up your holiday decoration game this year. Wreaths are a wonderful way to do this, and you can hang them anywhere, not just on the front door!
Swipe through these slides to learn how to make a spectacular Christmas wreath.

For this wreath, you’ll need a wire frame, zip ties or floral wire, garden clippers and greenery of your choice. Lay your frame flat on a table, gather up a bundle of 4-5 stems of greenery and arrange them attractively. Attach the bundle to the frame, and then repeat the process around the frame. Add other embellishments as desired.

You’ll start with another wire frame for this one. You can purchase dried orange slices or you can dehydrate them yourself (225 degrees Fahrenheit for two hours; flip halfway). Use a hot glue gun to attach the orange slices to the frame and arrange any way you’d like. Add a ribbon for some extra flair.

The dried fruit of the star anise plant is as artistic as it is flavorful, and it makes a lovely wreath decoration. Purchase a wire hoop of any size and a good number of star anise pods. Get out the hot glue gun and affix the pods to the hoop; decorate with a ribbon if you like, and voilá!

The possibilities are endless with this type of wreath. You can find plain grapevine wreaths at any craft store, and you can find endless varieties of floral and greenery decorations. Simply weave the pick end of the greenery through the grapevine to achieve the look you’re looking for.

You’ll need a Styrofoam wreath, u-shaped hair pins and ornaments (the kind with the little wire hanger) in whatever sizes and colors you prefer. Loop a hair pin through the ornament hanger and insert the pin into the Styrofoam wreath. Repeat as desired to create whatever design or effect you would like to see.

Wrap some jute around a wire frame to provide a surface onto which you can glue pine cones. Before you start gluing, assess your pine cones’ shapes and size; maybe try laying them out in different designs to see what you like best. Then simply use a hot glue gun to secure the cones to the jute-covered frame.
