A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand’s partnership continues to set the standard for storytelling in footwear. Their Built For This campaign introduces an Air Jordan VI that honors the hard work, the invisible pressure and discipline that shape character.

James Whitner and his Atlanta-based boutique, A Ma Maniére, are well-revered for their invigorating Air Jordan collabs. The "Built For This" campaign focuses on the unglamorous hard work required to achieve success.
A Ma Maniére is famous for replacing standard materials with luxury alternatives. The upper features a rich smokey mauve nubuck that gives the sneaker a soft, velvety texture. Subtle accents in diffused taupe and cameo rose add depth without overwhelming the monochromatic vibes.
Longtime fans will spot the A Ma Maniére signature quilted lining on the interior. The branding gets an asymmetrical update with an A Ma Maniére logo on one tongue and the Jumpman on the other.
The footwear dropped alongside a matching apparel capsule designed to complement the sneaker's refined aesthetic. The collection includes a knit polo, track jacket and pants that utilize the same "Smokey Mauve" and earth-tone palette. Each piece emphasizes the brand's focus on "quiet luxury" and versatile streetwear.
Inside the box, there’s a custom art piece by Jammie Holmes titled, Malcolm, that depicts a young man listening to Malcolm X. And as Malcom X showed the nation, endurance, faith and quiet strength are needed to overcome adversity.
The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 6 officially dropped in November 2025. As usual with highly-anticipate d collaborations like these, collectors can still find these special Air Jordan VI’s on secondary marketplaces like GOAT and StockX.
