The Florida Everglades is a beautiful place that's full of natural wonders. It's also home to scary things that can harm you. These photographers safely capture it all, so we don't have to risk our wellbeing to observe nature.

Sun Over Cobwebs

How could something so creepy look so beautiful? There's not enough money in the world to convince me to walk through a field with that may cobwebs. Especially when you consider that each one is probably home to a spider.

Camouflaging Current

Blink twice and you'll miss it. Blink 3 times and you're lunch for this guy and his buddies. It's why you'll never see me swimming in the Everglades.

Golden Memories

Everything looks less scary during golden hour. A beautiful photo like this almost makes you forget that this is a swamp teeming with predators and snakes far bigger than you.

Ripple

This photo envokes similar feelings. Sure it's beautiful, but what's lurking beneath the surface of the water? Something had to cause the ripple.

Sharing Moments Under The Stars

Photos like these always bring back fond memories. There are few things better than sitting around a campfire with great company. If you haven't done it, it can't be recommended it enough.

Ibis Takeoff

Does this bird look kind of look like it's about to dunk a basketball on someone? I know it's flying, but something about this photo just makes the bird look like it has hops.

Thanks Mom!

I'm sure the baby bird on the left is going to get fed, but it doesn't look like it's happy about having to wait. The look in it's eyes says it's ready for some food, now!

Calling Barred Owl

When you look at an owl, it's no wonder why they are the symbol of wisdom. It's unclear what this bird is looking at, but it looks like it's about to give the most sage advice you've ever heard.

Pretty in Pink

Nature really does have a way of balancing things out, doesn't it? Sure this bird's face isn't much to look at but it compensates with it's beautiful pink wings. It's why Steve Buschemi has a sense of humor — for balance.
