Easy Sheet Pan Dinners to Make for Your Family

Stumped on dinner? Try a sheet pan meal. It’s quick, delicious, and uses just one pan. Simply toss protein, veggies, and seasoning, then roast. Cleanup is effortless. You don’t need a recipe, but here are ideas to get started.

East Asian-Inspired Pan

Cut up boneless chicken into bite-sized pieces and scatter on your sheet pan. Add broccoli florets, chopped bell pepper, chopped onions, matchstick carrots and whatever vegetables you like. Mix up soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, minced ginger and sesame oil; pour over the chicken and vegetables. Roast for 25 minutes at 400 degrees.

Italian Sausage and Gnocchi

You can purchase premade gnocchi at the grocery store. Combine it on a sheet pan with chunks of Italian sausage (spicy or mild; your choice). Add whatever vegetables you have on hand, plus Italian seasoning, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and olive oil. Yum!

Lemon Balsamic Chicken and Potatoes

Use whole or cut up boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs. Add cut up potatoes and seasonings such as oregano, paprika and garlic. You can also add olives and pepperoncini if you like. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Stir to combine and then roast at 425 degrees for about 30 minutes. Top it with feta at the end of the roasting period.

Salmon, Zucchini and Potatoes

This one is a bit tricky because potatoes take longer to cook than salmon and sliced zucchini. So you can either start them in the oven earlier or you can parboil them on the stove, then add to the sheet pan when you’re ready to put everything in the oven. Season the fish and veggies with salt, pepper, garlic, dill, parsley and red pepper flakes. Add lemon juice and olive oil, and roast!

Beef and Veggies

Use pre-cut beef tips and whatever veggies you have on hand. Carrots, potatoes, bell peppers and zucchini will work well. Toss everything on a sheet pan with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika and any other seasonings you prefer to use. Olive oil it up and stick it in the oven.

Hawaiian Chicken

This one calls for cut-up boneless chicken breasts, chopped bell pepper, sliced red onion and pineapple chunks (fresh or canned). Add everything to your sheet pan, sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, soy sauce and olive oil. Give the ingredients a good stir, and pop it in the oven!
